What is vSign?

vSign is Veritize's advanced electronic signature platform combining legally-binding signatures with hardware-rooted trust across PC, Apple, Android, and IoT devices — creating the most secure signatures possible.

Beyond "Click to Sign"

Most e-signature platforms just record that someone clicked a button. vSign goes further — proving not just THAT you signed, but exactly WHO signed, from WHICH device, using WHAT hardware security chip, at WHAT time, with cryptographic proof anchored to blockchain.

If someone ever claims "I didn't sign that," vSign provides irrefutable hardware-bound evidence that holds up in any court.

PC (Windows/Linux)

TPM 2.0

Trusted Platform Module — a physical chip (or firmware-based fTPM) on the motherboard. Stores RSA/ECC keys and provides Platform Configuration Registers (PCRs) to prove the OS hasn't been tampered with.

vSign Integration Signs the "Pulse" heartbeat ensuring requests came from the actual physical motherboard. Verifies TPM's Endorsement Key (EK) against whitelist.

Apple (iOS/macOS)

Secure Enclave (SEP)

A dedicated RISC processor isolated from the main CPU. Creates permanent, hardware-bound keys via DeviceCheck/App Attest that can only be used by your app on that specific iPhone or Mac.

vSign Integration Validates the key_id generated by the Secure Enclave. Prevents cloned or emulated devices from hitting the TSA endpoint.

Android

StrongBox Keymaster

A discrete hardware element (like Google's Titan M chip) with its own RAM and CPU. Provides hardware-backed key storage and TEE validation — the equivalent of a "PC TPM" inside a smartphone.

vSign Integration Checks for the STRONGBOX flag in the attestation certificate for maximum security.

IoT / Industrial

Secure Element (SE) / HSM

Dedicated low-power chips that store the "Golden Master" hash. When a sensor sends data, it's signed by the Secure Element to prove it wasn't intercepted or modified (Man-in-the-Middle protection).

vSign Integration Supports Microchip ATECC608, STSafe, and NXP SE050 for immutable hardware identities.

Verity Time Seal™

Every signature receives a Verity Time Seal combining: hardware attestation from the device's security chip, RFC 3161 trusted timestamp, and blockchain anchor — creating an unbreakable chain of cryptographic proof.
